Strategic Cooperation with SensorStim Neurotechnolology

PAJUNK® GmbH Medizintechnologie and SensorStim Neurotechnology GmbH start a strategic cooperation on January 1st, 2022 to revolutionize the fields of stimulation and neuromodulation through new treatment methods

We are happy to make it official, Pajunk enters into a strategic partnership with SensorStim, a young start-up from Berlin, Germany, which develops intelligent systems for measuring movements and stimulation of nerves and muscles.

Through constant monitoring of the startup scene in the health sector, Simone Pajunk-Schelling and Martin Hauger became aware of SensorStim. For their joint future, Pajunk will act as a partner of SensorStim.

"There will be new opportunities for the treatment of neurological diseases and for pain therapy, and we would like to be a market leader in these new treatment methods from the very beginning," said Simone Pajunk-Schelling, managing director of Pajunk GmbH. "SensorStim offers us the opportunity for digital, innovative extensions of our product range in combination with our cannulas and catheters," Martin Hauger, Managing Director of Pajunk GmbH, commented on the partnership.

About SensorStim:

SensorStim was founded in 2017 as a startup by Dr. Thomas Schauer, Hanno Voigt and Dr. Constantin Wiesener at TU Berlin. Together, they develop medical devices based on the latest technologies for restoring and maintaining the mobility of people with neurological diseases.

The largest project to date is Stim2Go® - a comprehensive therapy system for neurological diseases. Complex, customized stimulation programs can be easily created, adapted and assigned to patients by the therapist using an app. Users are safely guided through therapy via smartphone app. The system is powerful for implementing novel stimulation methods, such as transcutaneous spinal cord stimulation, and versatile with up to five stimulation channels. It can even be used in water thanks to its patented process, which enables novel applications of neurostimulation during swimming and exercise training in therapy pools.

"This makes Stim2Go the therapy system for spasticity, pain and restricted movement - developed for the perfect interaction of patients and therapists," says Hanno Voigt, CEO of SensorStim Neurotechnology GmbH.
