APEX 6 Overview

Generator for RF Treatments

The APEX 6 is a multi-lesioning, 6-channel desktop generator for RF treatments. It can provide continuous or pulsed RF output at 460 kHz and monopolar or bipolar electrode modes, intended for lesioning or pulsed RF therapy of neural tissue. The device includes sensory and motor stimulation functions to fine tune electrode placement for procedures.

Radiofrequency Ablation (RFA) is a well established treatment that 
utilizes high-frequency alternating current to create targeted lesions
through thermal ablation. It has emerged as a safe and effective 
nerve ablation technique that can provide substantial pain relief 
for up to 12 months.

APEX 6 Features & Advantages

Lesion / Pulsed-RF Mode

Offers three modes;

  • Single Monopolar Mode - One electrode at a time is operational, the APEX6 will move onto the next electrode as soon as the previous lesion/PRF has been completed.
  • Double Monopolar Mode - Two electrodes at a time are operational, the APEX6 will move onto the next electrode as soon as the previous lesion/PRF has been completed.
  • Bipolar Lesion/Pulsed Mode - Available for the creation of lesions/PRF between two electrodes.
6-Channel RF Generator

Up to six electrodes can be connected simultaneously:

  • Enables parallel lesioning or pulsed RF therapy in paired sequence.
  • Designed to support reduced overall procedure time.
Full-Width Display

Large touchscreen spanning the full width of the monitor:

  • Designed to support clear visualization of parameters and settings.
Emergency Stop Button

For immediate interruption of RF output during an emergency. 

Rotary Control-Based Parameter Adjustment

For manual adjustment of stimulation parameters. 

Real-Time Temperature Monitoring

Continuous measurement of temperature values during RF output.

Digital Notetaking

Electronic recording of procedural data directly at the system is possible:

  • Designed to support structured digital documentation.
  • Allows data extraction for documentation purposes.
