According to the new German S1 Guideline on hygiene recommendations for regional anesthesia, sterile probe covers are the standard for ultrasound-guided regional anesthesia (limited exceptions may apply for certain single-shot blocks per local risk analysis). For catheter procedures, the use of sterile probe covers is explicitly required.1
SonoCover provides a simple and hygienic way to cover medical probes. Available in both a standard linear form and an optional pre-formed chamber, SonoCover is designed to provide simplified application under sterile conditions with telescope folding. With elastics and tapes for secure fixation, and the option to include sterile ultrasound gel in a kit, SonoCover is a comprehensive, ready-to-use solution for healthcare providers.
