Rectus sheath blocks have been in use for years. First abdominal field blocks were described in 1899 by Schleich1.
With the introdcution of ultrasound into Regional Anaesthesia, many new fascial plane blocks have been introduced, including the rectus sheath block, allowing for improved post-op pain management in abdominal surgeries.
Pajunk offers continuous sets with Tuohy and single shot needles including TuohySono, the ultrasound visible needles.
